Giving back

Designed with purpose, driven by compassion.

How we support blind and visually impaired dogs, the charities that work with them, and the owners learning as they go.

A dog wearing a Holywell harness

We could have made another collar. We would rather make the walk easier for every dog who needs a little more understanding.

01

We donate money

A portion of our revenue goes to blind dog and guide dog charities, as a standing commitment rather than a seasonal campaign.

02

We donate product

Harnesses, collars and leads go to training organisations and rescues, so dogs have dependable gear from day one.

03

We share what we learn

Guides, owner stories and practical advice for anyone whose dog has lost their sight or hearing.

01 Why we started

Started with one dog. Built to help many.

Harvey's Own began with Harvey, who is blind. Helping him feel safe and confident on an ordinary walk taught us how much a clear, visible message changes the way strangers approach a dog.

Along the way we met owners of blind and visually impaired dogs facing the same problem from the other direction. There were plenty of collars and leads on the market, but very few designed with any of these dogs in mind. We set out to change that.

  • Comfort and confidence for dogs with sensory impairments
  • Clear communication between dog and owner
  • Durability and safety for everyday use
  • Timeless design that does not compromise on style
02 Charitable donations

Giving back is built into the brand.

We donate a portion of our revenue to blind dog and guide dog charities. Supporting them is not an afterthought, it is part of how the business works.

We would rather give steadily and say so plainly than run a campaign once a year.

  • Guide dog training and placement programmes
  • Support services for blind and visually impaired dogs
  • Education and awareness around canine vision loss
03 Product donations

Equipment for dogs in training.

Alongside financial support we regularly donate harnesses, collars and leads, so dogs in training or transition have dependable equipment from day one.

  • Guide dog training organisations
  • Blind and visually impaired dogs in rescue care
  • Assistance and therapy dog programmes
