The harness
Who is the Holywell harness for?
It is designed for deaf, blind and partially sighted dogs, and for any dog who benefits from a gentler, slower hello. The clear message lets people know how to approach before they reach down.
Can other people really read the message from a distance?
Yes. The lettering is sized and placed to be legible from a few metres away, so passers by and other owners can see it before they get close.
Is it comfortable for everyday wear?
Comfort comes first. Soft, considered materials sit against your dog, with no rough edges where it touches. Most dogs settle into it within a walk or two.
What is it made from, and how do I wash it?
Everything is 100% polyester. Hand wash in cold or lukewarm water with a mild detergent and air dry naturally. Do not bleach or tumble dry.
Collars and leads
What sizes do the collars and leads come in?
Holywell collars: S 28 to 43 cm (1.5 cm wide), M 33 to 51 cm (2.0 cm wide), L 41 to 66 cm (2.5 cm wide), XL 47 to 74 cm (2.5 cm wide).
Alban collars: S 22 to 30 cm (1.5 cm wide), M 28 to 43 cm (1.5 cm wide), L 33 to 51 cm (2.0 cm wide).
Leads are one size and 2.0 cm wide: 150 cm long in the Holywell collection and 152 cm in the Alban collection.
The bundle
What comes in the bundle?
The bundle pairs a harness with a matching collar and lead, so everything goes together and your dog is ready to head out.
Orders and delivery
When will my order arrive?
We will share delivery times at checkout. We dispatch from the UK and will email you tracking details as soon as your order is on its way.
Can I return or exchange?
Yes. You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return by emailing returns@harveysown.com. Items should be unworn, with tags, and in their original packaging.
